Son extends Tottenham until 2025

The former Bundesliga professional Heung-min Son will stay with the English top club Tottenham Hotspur for the long term. As the Spurs announced, the captain of the South Korean national team signed a new four-year contract until the summer of 2025.

Son moved to North London in 2015 after two seasons at Bayer Leverkusen, before he had been active in the Bundesliga for Hamburger SV for three years.

“It feels like home, especially with the fans, the players and the staff,” said the 29-year-old attacker. “I didn’t have to think twice. It was easy. I am so happy to be here and I am happy to be with you Seeing fans again soon. “

Son has scored 107 goals and 64 assists in 280 competitive games for Spurs so far, and in 2019 he had a large share in the Champions League final.

Unlike Son, star player Harry Kane could leave the club prematurely. Learn more here.
