Kolo Muani reportedly wants to go to Bayern Munich

Kolo Muani is said to be moving to Bayern Munich. How sports1 citing his own information, the striker is aiming for a commitment to second place in the Bundesliga if he leaves Eintracht Frankfurt.

Muani is still under long-term contract with the SGE, but thanks to his strong performances this season he is in great demand. Among others, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are stubbornly associated with the 24-year-old. Loud sports1 but would prefer Muani to Bayern. Rumors of a fundamental interest in Muani from Munich have been circulating for a long time. In addition to Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur) and Victor Osimhen (SSC Napoli), he is said to be the third well-known candidate for the storm center. Although he is not considered the ideal person for the position, especially compared to Kane.

In any case, signing the French international (six appearances for Les Bleus) would not be a cheap undertaking. Frankfurt’s pain threshold for Muani is 100 million euros. This would be a new record transfer for Munich. So far, they have spent 80 million euros on Lucas Hernández (2019), the highest amount for a player.

Four French players are already playing for Bayern. One of them, Dayot Upamecano, lured Muani a few months ago and said: “Keep up the good work, you’ll be playing with us soon!”

Frankfurt wants to keep Kolo Muani for another year

SGE sports director Markus Krösche, on the other hand, always emphasized that there were no efforts in Frankfurt to sell Muani this summer: “Basically, we have no intention of selling Randal after just one year with us this summer. Another season with us would be good for him do well.”

Kolo Muani comes from the youth of US Torcy, he later made the leap to professionalism at FC Nantes. In the 2019/20 season he played on loan at Boulogne. In 2022, the right-footed player moved to Eintracht Frankfurt on a free transfer, where he is still under contract until 2027.

The attacker made 36 competitive appearances for Eintracht this season. He scored 17 goals and 14 assists. Muani also impressed at the World Cup in Qatar: he made three appearances for France’s national team on their way to becoming vice-champion and scored two points (one goal, one assist).
