1. FC Köln has a new commercial director. As the association announced on Wednesday, Philipp Türoff (45) will take over the office from January 1st and will initially form the management together with Alexander Wehrle and Christian Keller. Wehrle, on the other hand, will not extend his contract, which will expire in 2023.

“With the idea of ​​expanding the management, I met open ears on the board of directors,” said Wehrle. All those involved agreed that it made sense to “distribute the tasks over several shoulders”.

Born in Freiburg, Türoff last worked in various international management positions, most recently at a shoe manufacturer (Birkenstock) since 2016.
