Alleged cabin squabble between Rose and Can after CL-Aus against Sporting

After the end of the Champions League against Sporting, there was apparently an argument in the Borussia Dortmund cabin. This is what reporter Patrick Berger reports in Sport1-Podcast “The Dortmund Week”.

Accordingly, it should have crashed between coach Marco Rose and Emre Can after his dismissal.

The international came on in the second half before seeing the red card in the 74th minute after a tough decision from referee Carlos del Cerro Grande. The BVB finally lost with 1: 3 and therefore not overwintered in the premier class, but in the Europa League.

Rose told the red sinner loudly in front of the assembled team that something like this should not happen. Can, on the other hand, is said to have defended himself loudly but respectfully.

Shortly after the final whistle, Rose reacted angrily to Can’s action after he had been made aware of the controversial scene. “The fact is that we can’t even get the referee into the situation where he can show a red card. Just stay away. That would have been better,” he said.

However, the two fighters would have made up the next day, it says in the podcast. On top of that, Can was allowed to play in the subsequent league game against VfL Wolfsburg and, in addition to a good performance, impressed in the 3-1 victory with his goal to equalize 1: 1 in the meantime.
