Maria KeaneNational player Nadiem Amiri is about to move from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen to Italian first division side FC Genoa. The 25-year-old is expected for a medical check-up in Italy on Tuesday.
According to Italian media, the midfielder will initially be loaned out, but Genoa also reportedly has a purchase option. The German coach Alexander Blessin (48) has been in action at the Ligurian first division team since last week.
According to the club, the long-time professional, who was last in charge of KV Oostende in Belgium, signed a contract until the summer of 2024. He inherited the fired Ukrainian coach Andrei Shevchenko.
