Maria KeaneAccording to winger Angelino, the change of coach from Jesse Marsch to Domenico Tedesco at RB Leipzig has not only proved to be a stroke of luck in terms of results.
“It’s a big difference in terms of playing style. With Tedesco we enjoy football more because we play the way we like it again,” said the 25-year-old in an interview sports1.
Under Tedesco, who replaced the American Marsch, who was only signed in the summer, at the beginning of December, Leipzig “still plays aggressively, quickly forward, with pressing – but also with the ball, with a lot of control,” emphasized Angelino: “Not like that anymore in basketball, where it’s always up and down.”
Under the former Schalke coach Tedesco, the Saxons improved from 14th place to sixth place after four wins from six Bundesliga games. Angelino also expects his team to have chances on Saturday evening (6.30 p.m. in LIVETICKER) at record champions Bayern Munich. “They’re a good team, they’ve been showing that for several years,” said the Spaniard. “But we’re a good team too and we’re going to Munich to win.”
