Arminia Bielefeld - Insults, threats and blows: Problem fans riot in ICE

Problem fans of Arminia Bielefeld are said to have rioted in an ICE on Sunday on the return trip from the Bundesliga away game at Bayern Munich (0: 1).

A railway employee is said to have been racially insulted and beaten. According to their own information, the federal police were able to identify a 34-year-old man as a suspect.

According to the report, the suspect, known to the police, was part of a group of eleven who had initially been noticed on the trip from Hanover to Bielefeld for smoking and splashing around with water in the on-board bistro. According to the police, after the bistro boss intervened, he was physically attacked by the suspected man and threatened with death.

Criminal proceedings were initiated against the Bielefeld native for bodily harm, threats and insults. Criminal proceedings were also opened against another Arminia supporter because he was said to have threatened the DB employee concerned with murder after arriving in Bielefeld.
