Arminia Bielefeld signs veteran Castro

Bundesliga club Arminia Bielefeld has signed Gonzalo Castro and thus strengthened himself with plenty of experience for the relegation battle. As Arminia announced on Tuesday, the 34-year-old midfielder signed a contract until the end of the current season plus an option.

Castro was the captain of Bundesliga competitor VfB Stuttgart until the summer of this year and was most recently without a club.
