Bayern Munich reportedly agreed with FC Barcelona over Sergino Dest

FC Bayern Munich has reportedly reached an agreement with FC Barcelona on a transfer of right-back Sergino Dest. This is what the Spanish journalist Gerard Romero claims, who after his time with RAC1 now on Twitch is working on establishing itself as a transfer expert.

Romero has had a mixed track record of his reveal coups so far. A fundamental interest of FC Bayern in Dest would not be surprising, however, since the German record champions had already dealt with the then Ajax player in the summer of 2020.

But since the American then decided on Barca, the Munich team finally brought Bouna Sarr from Olympique Marseille for the position at the back right.

The financially troubled Barcelona want to strengthen their own team in winter, but this is not possible without previous departures. In the case of Dest, the transfer fee is said to be the amount that the Catalans put on the table a year and a half ago: 21 million euros.

For the right-back position, Barcelona allegedly have Noussair Mazraoui from Ajax Amsterdam in mind, a swap with the Dutch would also be possible in the summer. “There are dozens of names currently being traded at Barca,” said GOAL-Correspondent Adria Soldevila, who cannot confirm Romero’s information regarding the Dest deal with FCB: “I don’t know anything about Bayern’s interest.”
