Bayern President Hainer calls Qatar critic Ott after the JHV chaos

President Herbert Hainer from FC Bayern Munich wants to approach the critical fans. Hainer called club member Michael Ott on Saturday to arrange a personal meeting.

Its application to end the Qatar sponsorship at the annual general meeting on Thursday had been rejected by the club. As a result, there were riots.

“We briefly exchanged information about the AGM and stayed that way that we will have a personal conversation about Qatar and the AGM,” reported Ott on Twitter. When this conversation will take place has not yet been determined. “What is certain, however, is that the conflict must be resolved,” wrote Ott.

Coach Julian Nagelsmann sees it similarly. In his opinion, the general meeting was “not necessarily the right framework to discuss the problem,” he said at Sky: “Maybe there are options to solve it better.”

The coach does not see the day-to-day business negatively influenced by the unrest. “I still have enough capacity to take care of the sport,” he said. And: Despite the quarrels, he “claims that we play well”.
