Board member Jörg Wacker resigns

Jörg Wacker left the board of directors of FC Bayern München AG after eight years.

The 53-year-old was responsible for “internationalization and strategy” and, since the end of 2015, also for the area of ​​merchandising and licenses for the German record champions.

Among other things, Wacker was responsible for the opening of the international offices in New York in 2014 and Shanghai in 2016 as well as the design of FC Bayern World in downtown Munich. Most of his duties are allegedly taken over by club boss Oliver Kahn.
