BVB apparently interested in Everton again

BVB is apparently interested in Benfica’s Everton again. That reports UOL esports from Brasil.

According to the report, in addition to the black and yellow ones, AC Milan and FC Everton should also stretch their feelers for the 25-year-old, who is currently not playing at Benfica as desired.

At Benfica, the offensive man, who came to Portugal from Porto Alegre in 2020, cannot meet his expectations anyway. In the current season he is currently with four goals and five assists in 25 competitive appearances, in three of the last four league games he sat on the bench for 90 minutes.

Therefore, BVB should monitor Everton’s situation very closely, even if he is under contract with Benfica until 2025.

Before moving to Benfica in 2020, BVB is said to have had the 25-time Brazilian international in their sights.

BVB: That is Borussia Dortmund’s biggest problem

TV expert Erik Meijer has explained what, in his opinion, is the biggest problem for BVB.

“Borussia’s biggest problem is on the defensive – even with Mats Hummels and Manuel Akanji there had been too many goals conceded before. Your own great offensive can’t score that many goals to always win,” Meijer wrote in his kicker-Column.

In the current season, BVB conceded 26 goals in 17 games and thus even four hits more than the table penultimate Arminia Bielefeld – three of them in the bitter 3-2 defeat on the 17th matchday against Hertha.

At the same time, Meijer’s championship fight is almost over. “The Munich team are too good, and the competition shows too little consistency for it to be tight again with a difference of nine points,” explained Meijer.

This is “a shame” and “frustrating” for the attractiveness and balance of the Bundesliga, added the long-time Bundesliga professional.
