Eintracht Frankfurt has conquered the Borussia-Park fortress with counter-football from the textbook and got a broad chest for the Champions League. Thanks to a furious first half, the Hessians won 3:1 (3:0) in Mönchengladbach and climbed to fourth place in the table.
Only a technical defect could briefly stop the ice-cold Frankfurt counter-footballers. Because a cable from the cable camera was hanging down, Eintracht had to take a break in Borussia Park – the fully deserved 3: 1 (3: 0) of the Europa League winner in Mönchengladbach was only delayed.
