VfL Bochum is undoubtedly one of the many surprise teams in the league. After a difficult start to the season and only 4 points from 7 games, VfL has tightened properly and scored 15 points from the last 7 games. Thomas Reis’ team has thus gained a really good cushion and can probably go into the winter break relaxed. With three games remaining and 19 points at this point in time, the starting position of the promoted team is probably better than those in charge calculated before the season.
