BVB allegedly interested in Brazilian top talent Robert Renan

Borussia Dortmund is putting a lot of effort into the transfer market. Now BVB should be on a top talent from Brazil.

Borussia Dortmund is said to be seeking the services of top Brazilian talent Robert Renan. This is reported by the Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola.

The 18-year-old central defender comes from the youth academy of Brazilian top club Corinthians Sao Paulo and made his professional debut for the club this year. In addition to BVB, Manchester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers are said to be interested in Renan.

BVB: Ten to twelve million euros for Renan?

The teenager’s contract in Sao Paulo runs until 2024. Corinthians is apparently expecting concrete offers in the near future, with a transfer fee of between ten and twelve million euros.

In Dortmund, Renan could mature behind the established Mats Hummels and the two newcomers Niklas Süle and Nico Schlotterbeck. The Swiss Manuel Akanji, who is also in the squad, is considered a candidate for sale.
