BVB is traveling to Las Vegas in the summer

Borussia Dortmund is going on another trip to the USA in the summer. From the end of July, the Westphalians will be visiting several cities in the West and Midwest. A game against the English record champions Manchester United on July 30 in Las Vegas has already been agreed. The 61,000-seat Allegiant Stadium, home of the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders, will be the setting.

In North America, “the market is becoming more and more important in the run-up to the 2026 World Cup and the enthusiasm for football is growing,” said BVB Managing Director Carsten Cramer.

Sports director Sebastian Kehl announced a “perfect mix of training and games as well as encounters with the local people”.

The return to the USA after a four-year break due to the pandemic is being funded by the DFL. After 1954, 2018 and 2019, it will be the fourth trip across the Atlantic for BVB.
