After the 2: 4 (0: 3) defeat against FC Bayern, Marco Reus and Gregor Kobel commented on the reasons for Borussia Dortmund’s poor performance.
“How should I explain that? Everyone has seen that. Greg (Gregor Kobel, editor’s note) has saved us in so many games this season. It’s bitter in this situation,” said Reus sky-Microphone about the mistake of his teammate, who had put BVB behind early on.
Bayern were superior to Dortmund in every phase of the game, Reus summed up: “We got in well, but in the end the result doesn’t lie , it doesn’t leave us unaffected.”
From Dortmund’s point of view, you have to “work through the result and keep at it. The season is not over yet. Even if it hurts a lot today.”
BVB unlucky Kobel spoke of a “very bitter” game for the black and yellow. “I have no idea how the ball slipped through there,” said the Swiss skyaddressed to the 0:1. “That’s been a nice shit. There are just shitty days, today was one of those.”
Due to the defeat of Dortmund, Bayern moved ahead again in the table. After 26 of 34 match days, the German record champions have a two-point lead over BVB.
