Maria KeaneThe bad luck with injuries remains true to BVB. As Borussia Dortmund announced on Tuesday, defenders Nico Schulz and Felix Passlack will not be available for several weeks.
“BVB will miss Nico Schulz and Felix Passlack for a few weeks due to muscle injuries,” BVB announced on its website.
Schulz suffered his injury while warming up before the Bundesliga game at 1. FC Köln (1-1) last Sunday and was out at short notice. Raphael Guerreiro replaced him in the team.
Passlack, on the other hand, started in Cologne but had to be substituted at the break and was replaced by Mats Hummels.
For Passlack it was only the seventh appearance in this Bundesliga season and the fifth from the start. Schulz has played 15 games for Borussia so far, but only three in 2022 – only two of them from the start.
BVB: Schulz in Dortmund before the end?
Schulz has long been considered a candidate for a summer exit, as he has never really been able to assert himself since moving from Hoffenheim to BVB for almost 25 million euros in 2019.
Again table football reports, a possible departure is difficult, after all, he is still under contract until 2024 and should earn quite well at BVB.
