Chief scout reportedly observed Marcus Thuram

FC Bayern Munich is apparently interested in Marcus Thuram from Borussia Mönchengladbach. As sports1 reports, chief scout Markus Pilawa watched the 25-year-old striker from France at the Rhenish derby on Sunday.

Thuram scored the final score in added time in Gladbach’s 5-2 win over 1. FC Köln. It was his eighth goal in his tenth competitive game of the season.

According to the report, FC Bayern’s interest in Thuram has not yet been concrete, and talks with the player side have not yet taken place. As of now, Thuram would be available for free next summer. He has not yet accepted an offer for an extension that has been available for weeks. He is said to be hoping for a move to a top club.
