Domenico Tedesco will probably be the new trainer for RB Leipzig

Bundesliga club RB Leipzig is said to have struck gold while looking for a new coach. According to consistent media reports, Domenico Tedesco will take over the runner-up and should succeed the American Jesse Marsch, who was dismissed on Sunday. RB is currently being looked after by interim trainer Achim Beierlorzer.

According to this, Tedesco could already sit on the coaching bench of the Leipzig next Saturday against Borussia Mönchengladbach (3:30 p.m.).

The 36-year-old Tedesco worked in the Bundesliga between 2017 and 2019 at Schalke 04. Most recently he worked in Russia at Spartak Moscow.

Leipzig is currently lagging far behind its own standards. In the Bundesliga, the Saxons occupy only eleventh place after 14 match days. In the last group game of the Champions League against Manchester City (2-1), RB secured qualification for the Europa League on Tuesday.
