BVB, rumours: Dortmund on Ajax shooting star Kudus?
Shooting star Mohammed Kudus from Ajax Amsterdam has allegedly aroused BVB’s interest again.
Borussia Dortmund already had the 22-year-old Ghanaian on their list before moving from Nordsjaelland to Ajax in 2020. Noisy Calciomercato Dortmund should be interested in him again after their recent performance. Kudus has already scored seven goals in eleven competitive games for Ajax this season, and he also provided another goal.
However, in addition to BVB, a few other clubs are also interested in the attacking midfielder. The Premier League clubs Brighton & Hove Albion, West Ham United and Everton are said to be particularly interested.
Kudus’ contract at Ajax Amsterdam runs until 2025. Although nothing is known about the requested transfer fee, it can be assumed that it will not come cheap.
BVB – News: Sebastian Kehl: “Cologne invited”
Sports director Sebastian Kehl is at odds with the 2:3 defeat against 1. FC Köln. “Actually, it should have been clear to everyone that Cologne would not stop. We dealt with the situation carelessly and invited Cologne to come back into the game,” said Kehl in an interview with the Ruhr news.
“If we do what we did in the second half, there will be a clear gap between what we want and what we actually do,” added Kehl.
BVB coach Edin Terzic summed it up: “It annoys us that we are back at this point, that we have to ask ourselves this question because it happens repeatedly that we simply give away games that we completely control.”
Borussia Dortmund is facing groundbreaking games in the coming week. First up is Wednesday in the Champions League against Sevilla FC (9 p.m. in the live ticker). Then the Bundesliga cracker against FC Bayern Munich on Saturday (6.30 p.m. in the live ticker) is on the list.
BVB, News: Sébastien Haller with an emotional message
Borussia Dortmund striker Sébastien Haller reported after his testicular cancer ZDF sports studio to word. He gave Timo Baumgartl an emotional message. He had recently celebrated his comeback after his testicular cancer.
“Hello everyone, especially you, Timo. I just wanted to tell you that you are a great role model. You’ve been through a tough time in the past few months – and I know what I’m talking about,” said Haller. “I just want to say ‘thank you’ for everything you’ve done for me over the last few months.”
Baumgartl from Union Berlin celebrated his comeback in the Bundesliga before the international break. After five months battling cancer, it was a big win for the 26-year-old. Haller wished his sporting rivals all the best for the rest of the season and congratulated them on their provisional lead in the standings, but added: “But we’ll still come.”
