BVB, News: Dortmund stars confident before Bayern game

After the 4-1 CL victory against FC Sevilla, BVB is confident that they can perform well in the top Bundesliga game against FC Bayern Munich on Saturday and be able to stand up to the German record champions.

“If we play like we did today and not like we did against Cologne, then we have a chance,” Dortmund midfielder Jude told Bellingham DAZN. His teammate Julian Brandt blew a similar horn. “We’re always ready to play against FC Bayern. We’re in the mood.”

BVB, News: Watzke would become FCB “for no money in the world”.

Hans-Joachim Watzke from BVB would never work for league rivals FC Bayern. The managing director of Borussia Dortmund explained this in an interview.

“There’s no price tag for that – I wouldn’t do it for any money in the world,” said the BVB boss in an interview with sports image: “I’ve been at BVB for 18 years, a fan since time immemorial, I’ll never leave all of that in the cloakroom.”

Oliver Kahn, who took part in the conversation as another interview partner, agreed with Watzke. Kahn explained that he had the opportunity to join FC Schalke 04 as manager in 2008 but turned it down: “When you’ve played for a club for 14 years, you don’t just go somewhere else.”

Borussia Dortmund succeeded in the dress rehearsal for the top game against FC Bayern Munich on Saturday: In the third group game of the Champions League, coach Edin Terzic’s team won against FC Sevilla 4-1 (3-0).
