Maria KeaneAt a press conference on Tuesday, Edin Terzic told of a one-to-one meeting with Karim Adeyemi. Borussia Dortmund’s coach also commented on Youssoufa Moukoko.
“We talked about it privately and with the entire team,” said Terzic. After BVB’s 2-0 defeat at Union Berlin on Sunday, Adeyemi questioned the switch to a back three after he was responsible for the second goal.
“He was very insightful,” said Terzic: “But we all conceded the goal. Not just Karim, not just Gregor Kobel, but the whole team. Too many mistakes were made before that. We didn’t give him enough space, he didn’t have a passing station – then he takes the heel.”
The 39-year-old explained that he was sure that Adeyemi would do better against Hannover 96. BVB is a guest in the second round of the DFB Cup at the second division team (Wednesday, 6 p.m. in LIVETICKER).
Terzic also spoke about Moukoko. “We worked with him tactically and technically. I have five scenes again that I would like to show him. What he has done well and where he can even improve. He has made a big leap and we know that We. Now it is important to bring that onto the pitch regularly,” said the BVB coach.
