Maria KeaneCoach Oliver Glasner reckons with aftermath after the failed move from Filip Kostic to Lazio.
Glasner is of the opinion that we now have to work on “rebuilding trust so that we can all have a good future together,” said the coach Frankfurter Rundschau.
However, Glasner considers a punishment for Kostic to be questionable: “That would be like having an affair in the marriage and the man then saying: ‘Okay, I’ll pay a fine – and that’s fine again.’ That does not work.”
Rather, Glasner made it clear: “The door is not closed, we will open it for him.”
In the course of the change theater Kostic had skipped the training of Eintracht the week before in order to force his change.
The sporting director Markus Krösche then announced that the situation would be dealt with. However, this work-up is likely to include sanctions against Kostic. “We’ll have to talk about sanctions. Because it was a mistake by the player,” said Krösche of the image quoted.
