Extension with Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting until 2024

Bayern Munich can count on striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting in their planned comeback in the Champions League quarter-final second leg against Manchester City.

After his return to training on Monday, the 34-year-old also played the final session for the duel on Wednesday.

Choupo-Moting has missed the last three competitive games with knee problems, including the 3-0 loss at City. With his comeback, coach Thomas Tuchel has all the stars available except for the long-term injured Manuel Neuer and Lucas Hernandez.
