Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting still with problems after corona illness

FC Bayern Munich will not be able to fall back on the services of Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting as soon as hoped. The 32-year-old is still struggling with problems after his corona infection.

“With Choupo, the after-effects of his corona disease are such that we wait a week until he can start training normally again. The next examination will then decide whether he can be subjected to more stress,” said coach Julian Nagelsmann at the press conference before the game against FC Barcelona (Wednesday, 9 p.m. on LIVETICKER). “Of course he’s negative, but he just still has problems.”
