Maria KeaneFC Augsburg has apparently placed its coach Enrico Maassen under close observation. He reports that table football.
Should the 38-year-old score just one point or less with his team in the next two games, he is threatened with being replaced on the FCA coaching bench.
Above all, Maassen’s style of play should be criticized by the Augsburg leadership. Instead of his modern tactics tailored to each opponent, the bosses would rather see more pragmatism in the game of the Bavarian Swabians.
“It’s important not to talk everything to pieces in these phases, but to be self-critical and still emphasize positive things on the pitch,” said Maassen recently about the unsatisfactory start to the season.
Nevertheless, you have to show a reaction against Werder Bremen next weekend. “We have to be awake and attentive until the end and not always fall behind 0-1,” Maassen continued.
Possible successor could be loud table football be Bruno Labbadia. The bosses are said to have dealt with the 56-year-old last summer and saw him as a possible alternative for Maassen.
