FC Bayern – Because of interest in Konrad Laimer: RB boss Oliver Mintzlaff shoots against Munich

FC Bayern has long been associated with Konrad Laimer from RB Leipzig. This annoys RB boss Oliver Mintzlaff, who attacked Bayern sharply on the sidelines of the test match against Liverpool.

“I hope that Bayern will come up with other ideas and not always get our players,” said Mintzlaff ServusTV. According to the picture Bayern have made another offer for the midfielder, around 23 million euros plus bonus payments, but this was probably rejected.

Whether the Red Bulls really want to sell is an open question. “Konny is extremely important for our game, so we don’t want to lose him. We’re in the driver’s seat, so when we do things, they have to go our way.” Laimer’s contract with the Saxons expires in 2023, but according to Mintzlaff it is also possible that the Austrian will only change next summer – then free of charge.

“It’s also possible that we keep him and go into the last year of his contract and don’t get a fee,” confirmed Mintzlaff. Noisy picture Laimer already agrees with Bayern and Bayern President Herbert Hainer has already reacted to the sports picture to Mintzlaff’s statements: “It’s just that many players want to go to Bayern Munich. And if someone wants to, we’ll be happy to take a look.”

Laimer moved from Salzburg to Leipzig in 2017 for around 7 million euros, since then the midfielder has played 160 competitive games for the Bulls, in which he scored 11 goals.
