Maria KeaneBayern Munich is not calming down when it comes to Corona: Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has now tested positive for the virus. The record champions announced on Wednesday that he was “doing well under the circumstances.”
The 32-year-old striker, who had previously been in quarantine as a contact person, remains in domestic isolation. Choupo-Moting is reportedly not vaccinated.
After all, coach Julian Nagelsmann can probably plan again with Niklas Süle and Josip Stanisic in the Bundesliga home game on Saturday (6.30 p.m. / Sky) against Arminia Bielefeld. The two professionals who tested positive for the corona virus returned to the training ground on Wednesday.
National player Süle completed an individual conditioning session with the ball together with Dayot Upamecano, who missed the Champions League game at Dynamo Kiev (2-1) due to a yellow card suspension. Stanisic did a few laps.
The duo had found themselves in domestic isolation, but were able to free themselves at the beginning of the week. It is unclear when Joshua Kimmich, Serge Gnabry, Jamal Musiala and Michael Cuisance, who are currently in quarantine as contacts, will be available again.
