FC Bayern: Harry Kane jersey causes trouble

Ange Postecoglou gave a press conference in Bangkok, Thailand ahead of the friendly between Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City. Then a reporter showed up Picture with a Bayern jersey by Harry Kane – and received a reprimand.

The reporter showed the jersey to the Spurs manager and asked how the sight made him feel. “What can I say about that? Nothing!” Said the 57-year-old angrily: “You’ve come a long way for the laugh. Great! I hope it was worth it.”

FC Bayern should be in fundamental agreement with Kane about a change. In addition, Kane Spurs boss Daniel Levy is said to have already announced that he will not renew his contract, which expires in 2024. This would make him a free transfer next summer, which is why a sale now would make financial sense from Tottenham’s point of view.

According to several media reports, Bayern plan to make a third offer for Kane shortly after the two previous bids were rejected. Spurs are rumored to be expecting at least £100m (€115m), but Bayern say they don’t want to go over the €100m mark.
