As the Bild newspaper reported, the record champions have been discussing in recent months whether it makes sense to sign the Leverkusen player this summer despite his injury.
Even if this is said to have been considered too risky and Wirtz has just extended the contract with the Werkself – probably without an exit clause – Bayern are still in close contact with the player’s representatives regarding a future transfer.
The 19-year-old himself should be loud picture can in principle imagine a move to Säbener Strasse. In any case, this would cost Bayern dearly: It is firmly assumed that a transfer fee in the three-digit million range will flow for a Wirtz transfer.
The attacking midfielder is considered the future of the DFB team and one of the greatest talents in the world. Almost every top European club should have Wirtz on their list accordingly.
