Barcelona star Gavi’s new contract is still not valid and so the major European clubs are putting out feelers – including Bayern Munich.

FC Bayern has apparently contacted the agent of Gavi, midfield star of FC Barcelona. That reports the Spanish Sports.

La Liga announced Gavi as a professional player for the Catalans at the end of March because his contract, signed in autumn 2022, was probably not handed over to the Spanish league by the deadline. Gavi’s current deal runs until June 30, 2023. Should Barcelona not get their financial woes under control by then, the Spaniard would be available on a free transfer in the summer.

If this happens, the top European clubs are already queuing up. FC Bayern is probably watching the situation of the 18-year-old and FC Chelsea is also considered a hot prospect.
