Maria KeaneBayern Munich and Co. can soon hope for more spectators. Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU) announced corresponding corona relaxations on Friday.
He will also promote this at the upcoming federal-state summit on Monday and “if in doubt, also do it in Bavaria,” said Söder, who wants a “new perspective” for the Bavarian football, basketball, handball or ice hockey clubs.
Söder left it open what utilization he imagines for stadiums and halls, but the new regulation should be worthwhile for the clubs: “In the end it shouldn’t be a placebo effect”. National professional sport in Bavaria currently has to take place without spectators.
