FC Bayern Munich – Hasan Salihamidzic attacks Serge Gnabry because of the Paris trip: “Amateur”

Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic from FC Bayern Munich severely criticized Serge Gnabry’s trip to Fashion Week in Paris on Sunday.

“It’s amateurish. Exactly what we don’t want, what Bayern Munich isn’t. Doing some exercise instead of resting,” said Salihamidzic after the 1-1 draw against 1. FC Köln. “A day off is there to rest and then be able to step on the gas for the next game. We’ll talk about that.”

After the 1-1 draw at RB Leipzig on Friday, coach Julian Nagelsmann released his team on Sunday. Fashion fan Gnabry traveled to Paris for Fashion Week without further ado. There, the 27-year-old was photographed with unusual outfits, such as a fur jacket or a silk headscarf.

As in Leipzig, Gnabry was in the starting XI against Cologne, but was substituted at the break after a weak first half. According to Nagelsmann, this decision was “certainly not a Fashion Week issue”: “We have King on the bench, who was close to the first eleven.”

Gnabry’s representative Kingsley Coman actually enlivened FC Bayern’s offensive game. The Munich team improved significantly after the break and, thanks to a long-range shot by Joshua Kimmich, equalized in the 90th minute. Ellyes Skhiri gave Cologne the lead in the 4th minute.
