FCB – News: Club wants to convince Kimmich of vaccination

FC Bayern Munich is apparently urging that the still unvaccinated players in the FCB squad receive a corona vaccination. Again kicker reported, the players affected by Joshua Kimmich should be convinced of the need for such a vaccination.

Accordingly, the topic has already been discussed internally since Kimmich had caused a stir with his publicly expressed concerns. After the positive corona test by Niklas Süle and the following quarantine order for four other Bayern players, further discussions are to be held on the subject.

SPD politician Karl Lauterbach had recently expressed his hope for a rethink at Kimmich. “Schadenfreude is out of place now,” wrote the SPD health expert on Twitter. “I still hope that Joshua Kimmich still decides to have the vaccination. The vaccination protects against Covid, severe Covid endangers the level of play.”

FC Bayern – Rumor: New Lukaku? FCB is probably scouting talent

FC Bayern has apparently had an eye on the English storm talent Reyes Cleary. As the Daily Mail reported that FCB had already observed the 17-year-old attacker from West Bromwich Albion several times, including during the U23 game against Stoke City. The talent scouts from Munich are also said to have planned further trips to the island.

Cleary, who has already scored 14 goals this season, has been compared to Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku because of his stature and finishing strength. However, FCB is not the first club that is said to be interested in him. In Germany, this also applies to BVB, Schalke 04 and TSG Hoffenheim. Since Cleary has not yet signed a professional contract with the Baggies, a change could be relatively cheap.

FC Bayern – News: Rummenigge comments on Qatar

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge defended Bayern Munich’s business connections to Qatar again, partly because of the distorted competition in European football. “Bayern Munich has a partnership with Qatar Airways, and I was never a Pharisee, if I may put it that way. We got good money from this contract,” said the long-time CEO of the record champions WDR2-Podcast.

There is a “certain necessity” for this money. The decisive criterion is that FC Bayern is in competition across Europe with clubs that have completely different access to financial resources due to the takeover from outside. In addition, Rummenigge reacted to the counterattack by BVB managing director Hans-Joachim Watzke with regard to the championship teasing. Click here for the detailed report.
