FC Bayern: Flick raves about Sane
Leroy Sane has been in great shape for weeks after being whistled by Bayern fans at the start of the season. In the club as well as in the national team, the winger has become indispensable.
In Munich, Sane has scored 18 goals after 18 games, while in the DFB team under Hansi Flick he has five scorer points in five games. The starting shot of his performance explosion was the international break in September, when the 25-year-old repaid the national coach’s trust with two goals and an assist.
After the 9-0 win against Liechtenstein on Thursday, Sane received special praise from Flick. “We always said that Leroy had a serious injury and you always need a bit of time,” said the 56-year-old, adding: “Of course you can see that the lightness is back. And the way he plays football Playing is just fun. He’s dangerous in front of goal, but also works well against the ball. He’s made a huge development and I’m really happy for him because he’s also a very positive person. “
FC Bayern: Flick gives Goretzka the all-clear
Leon Goretzka was badly fouled in the World Cup qualifier between Germany and Liechtenstein in Wolfsburg. Jens Hofer had struck down the national player in the 8th minute with a kung-fu kick. After the game, national coach Hansi Flick gave the all-clear.
Goretzka was hit in the neck and had to be treated by the DFB doctors on the lawn, but was able to continue despite visible traces.
“He is fine. I assume that he can go to Armenia,” said Flick.
Hofer had seen the red card for the action. The Liechtensteiner felt sorry for his foul, which is why he apologized and accompanied Goretzka to the edge of the field.
FC Bayern: That’s why Roca and Cuisance had to train
At FC Bayern Munich, only four professionals are currently training during the international break. 15 players are on their national teams, five are in quarantine.
However, only Marc Roca and Michael Cuisance trained on Thursday, while Corentin Tolisso and Omar Richards apparently got a break.
According to information from image-Newspaper, Roca and Cuisance had to put in an extra shift because the two midfielders had lost the day before in a two-on-two against Tolisso and Richards.
The two winners were allowed to take a day off as a reward. Rehabilitation trainer Thomas Wilhelmi was in charge of the “punitive training”.
Coach Julian Nagelsmann was added towards the end of the 30-minute session and “warmly” welcomed Roca and Cuisance, who are currently irrelevant.
