Maria KeaneThe CEO Oliver Kahn has asked the unvaccinated players of FC Bayern Munich to rethink. “It is our absolute conviction that our players have to be vaccinated,” said Kahn before the DFB Cup game at Borussia Mönchengladbach in the ARD.
Most recently, Joshua Kimmich caused a stir with his confession that he did not have a corona vaccination. “Josh knows the attitude of FC Bayern. We can only recommend our players to get vaccinated,” said Kahn. “Even if we see the subject differently, you have to have respect for Joshua that he has a different opinion.”
“I don’t know” whether the public discussions at Kimmich would have led to a rethink. According to Kahn, the four other unvaccinated FC Bayern players are currently “very, very worried”.
Kahn also spoke of Lucas Hernandez, who avoided a prison sentence in Spain: “We assumed that this would be the result. We weren’t relaxed now, but we did it and we’re glad that it turned out that way.”
