On the 27th match day of the Bundesliga, FC Bayern Munich extended their lead over Borussia Dortmund to seven points again. After the last two draws against Leverkusen and Hoffenheim, Munich won 4-0 (3-0) against Union Berlin.
Kinsley Coman (16′), Tanguy Nianzou (25′) and Robert Lewandowski (45′ + 1/47′) scored twice for coach Julian Nagelsmann’s team.
Bayern Munich – Union Berlin: The Analysis
Apart from a few wobbles on the defensive, the first half was like a show of force by the record champions. Bayern constricted Union from the start in the sixteen. In possession, the Munich team formed a 3-5-2 system. Because Hernandez from the defensive group also played again and again, coach Julian Nagelsmann’s team sometimes came up with eight offensive players. Overall, Union simply did not manage enough to break free from the grip. And Bayern took advantage of its opportunities – unlike the 1-1 draw in Hoffenheim – ice cold.

Robert Lewandowski breaks the mark of 30 goals this season for the fifth time (31 goals currently!). Only Gerd Müller also managed five seasons with at least 30 goals.

Lively and playful, always busy with his wing. Great pound from a distance to make it 1-0, although not untenable. Also extremely diligent and attentive in reverse gear. He received a standing ovation when he was substituted.
The flop of the match: Andreas Luthe (Union Berlin)
Not the evening of the experienced goalkeeper. Looked extremely bad for Coman’s Kracher to lead. The Frenchman’s bullet fluttered a bit, but it also hit the target in the middle. In addition, Luthe came out of his box too late against Lewandowski and caused the penalty to make it 0: 3 from the Union point of view. With that the game was over.
