FC Bayern – News: Konrad Laimer talks about the failed move to Munich

FC Bayern was very interested in midfielder Konrad Laimer from RB Leipzig during this transfer window, but as is well known, nothing came of a change. Now the Austrian commented on the failed transfer for the first time.

In conversation with picture Laimer explained that he had come to terms with staying in Leipzig: “That’s football. I had a lot of conversations this summer, here at RB internally and also a lot with my family and my girlfriend. In the end it didn’t work out.”

Laimer added: “There’s no use complaining about it now. I’ve been here for five years, now it’s going to be a sixth year, everything is fine. I know how I should and must deal with the whole story.”

Laimer said just as clearly why he even considered moving to Bayern: “After five years, there may come a point where you say you need a new challenge. That’s how it was for me this summer. I’d like to tried something new, but that’s not a decision against Leipzig.”

Laimer now has another year of contract in Leipzig, after which he will be free next summer. However, he did not want to rule out staying longer: “Let’s see what the year brings. FC Bayern – News: Problems with the construction of the new training ground

It has been known for a few weeks that FC Bayern is building a new training ground for secret training for coach Julian Nagelsmann in the center of the site on Säbener Strasse. This was supposed to be completed by the end of August, but nothing came of it.

As picture reported, this has a simple reason: delivery bottlenecks! As many ordinary people are experiencing at all levels these days, certain things are currently difficult to deliver.
