National player Thomas Müller has no concrete ideas about his career after the active career. “I push it backwards. I feel good about it, I don’t feel any pressure and I have a wide variety of options,” said the 32-year-old in an interview with the media group Munich Mercury/tz.
He currently has “in mind to play at the top level by 2025,” said the offensive star from record champions Bayern Munich, who recently extended his contract until 2024.
Plans beyond that would never be “concrete (…) because I need far too much focus to keep up at this level,” said Müller.
Basically, he wanted to “keep close to football” even after his career, said the 2014 world champion: “In what form and with what intensity, that will then show.”
