Is coach Pellegrino Matarazzo threatened with the end?

Coach Pellegrino Matarazzo is said to be in danger of being eliminated from VfB Stuttgart. Sven Mislintat strengthened the 44-year-old’s back after the recent defeat.

Nevertheless, sports director Mislintat strengthened his coach after the 2:3 defeat on Saturday at VfL Wolfsburg. Matarazzo was “not part of the analysis,” Mislintat said.

VfB defender Pascal Stenzel is also certain that the turnaround will succeed with the current coach. “Our coach has been with us for almost three years now. I’m convinced that we’ll have more successful times again,” said the 26-year-old.

On Sunday Stuttgart will face Union Berlin, a week later the duel with Bochum is on the agenda.
