Maria KeaneBeniamino Molinari, who was born in Italy, will be Frank Kramer’s assistant at Bundesliga returnees Schalke 04. The 42-year-old had recently won the championship in Cyprus as assistant coach alongside Alexander Zorniger with Apollon Limassol.
“Beniamino not only has a strong understanding of football, but is also a people catcher and team player. He also speaks five languages. He will complement the existing coaching staff perfectly,” said sporting director Rouven Schröder.
Molinari completes the team of the new head coach Kramer, which already includes Mike Büskens, Matthias Kreutzer and Simon Henzler.
Before his time in Limassol, Molinari had worked as a coach at TSV Essingen for almost two years. Before that, he had already gained experience as a coach at TSG Backnang and 1. FC Normannia Gmünd.
