Jonas Hector with a listless interview after the Derby defeat against Gladbach

Jonas Hector gave a memorable interview after 1. FC Köln lost 5-2 in the Rheinderby against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

To the questions of one WDR-Reporters, the former international reacted taciturnly and listlessly. Last season, Hector had already let a reporter run up and complained about his “shitty questions”, among other things.

After the clear defeat in Gladbach, Hector even gave up whole sentences on Sunday.

WDR: “How does it feel this afternoon?”

Hector: “Not good.”

WDR: Nevertheless, you showed morale, which scored 2:4 and then you were still in charge. Is that what sets the team apart – even in a game like this, which is going badly?”

Hector: “Yes.”

WDR: “How long will it take you to digest such a defeat? Of course, the fans are going back to Cologne very frustrated.”

Hector: “Yes, we aswell.”
