FC Bayern, News: Zikrzee dreams of FCB return

Ex-Bayern striker Joshua Zirkzee can imagine a return to FC Bayern Munich despite his move to FC Bologna. “I would like to come back in the distant future. Who wouldn’t want to play for Bayern? That would be a dream,” said the 21-year-old at a press conference.

Zirkzee switched from Bayern to the Serie A club for 8.5 million euros in the summer after he had hardly gotten a chance under FCB coach Julian Nagelsmann. In return, the German record champion secured a buyback clause, which is said to be around 20 million euros.

“I chose Bologna because I had positive feelings. At the moment my goal is to get more minutes, train hard and help the team achieve better results,” Zirkzee explained the reasons for his move.

The Dutchman made a total of 17 appearances for Bayern. He scored three goals, one goal he prepared. Zirkzee has only made two brief appearances at Bologna so far.

FC Bayern, News: Martínez advisor confirms FCB rumours

Inter Milan star striker Lautaro Martínez’s agent has revealed he understands Bayern Munich’s alleged interest in his client. “I’m not surprised by the Bayern rumours,” said Alejandro Camaño TyC Sports. “There are always talks in football, but Lautaro Martínez is focused on Inter.”

After the departure of Robert Lewandowski to FC Barcelona, FC Bayern was looking for a replacement for the center of attack in the summer. The name of the Argentine was also brought into play by the Nerazzurri by various media. Possibly with more substance behind it than one would initially suspect.
