Juventus Turin thinks about winter transfer from Axel Witsel

Juventus Turin is already thinking about BVB professional Axel Witsel for the upcoming winter transfer window. SPOX and Goal can provide a corresponding report of the image confirm.

The right foot is one of several midfield options for the Italians. Recently, rumors circulated about a possible move of the 32-year-old to Turin next summer. Then Witsel would be available for a free transfer after his contract expires.

The Witsel side is said to have negotiated with the old lady before the current season, but BVB coach Marco Rose spoke out against a change.

It is still unclear whether the Belgian international, who has played all 17 competitive games this season (13 times in the starting XI), will extend or change. “Honestly, I don’t know,” he said on the BVB website at the end of September regarding a possible contract extension: “I don’t have a plan yet.”

Witsel moved from the Chinese TJ Tianhai to Dortmund in the summer of 2018 for 20 million euros. In the past, including before moving to China, Witsel had the opportunity to go to Turin.

BVB star Witsel: Juventus change burst several times

“I’ve had the chance to go there several times. But I’ve decided to go to other clubs,” he said at the last European Championship: “I don’t regret it. I would make every decision again.”

However, the thing between him and Juve in 2016 was not exactly as Witsel portrayed. Italian media unanimously reported that Juventus wanted to sign Witsel on the last day of the transfer window in summer 2016 and that the Belgian, at that time in the service of Zenit St. Petersburg, had even completed the medical check.

Then he is said to have waited 13 hours in the hotel for the necessary documents from St. Petersburg. These didn’t come in time and the deal fell through.
