Kingsley Coman is injured

Premature first round off for Kingsley Coman: FC Bayern Munich has announced a diagnosis after the Frenchman was replaced due to injury.

As the record champions announced on Wednesday, Coman suffered a torn muscle fiber in his right thigh in Bayern’s 5-0 win at VfB Stuttgart.

According to the club, the 25-year-old will not be available to coach Julian Nagelsmann’s team in the first round against VfL Wolfsburg on Friday (8.30 p.m.).

Coman had grabbed his thigh in the first half after a duel with Konstantinos Mavropanos. After a short treatment break, the winger had to be replaced in the 26th minute.

“It got in a little bit with a lunge,” said coach Nagelsmann, who had already reported before the game that Coman was “a little tired”.
