Loan from Brian Brobbey to Ajax Amsterdam apparently fixed

The loan from Brian Brobbey from RB Leipzig to Ajax Amsterdam, which has been in the room for weeks, is apparently perfect. According to the Image-Newspaper, the Dutch have no option to buy the striker.

It is therefore clear that Brobbey will return to Leipzig in the summer of 2022. In Amsterdam, the 19-year-old had gained a foothold on the football stage before turning down a contract extension for financial reasons and moving to the Bundesliga for free.

Under Jesse Marsch, however, the brawny attacker rarely got a chance. Across all competitions, there were only 14 short appearances in the first half of the season. His only and to date last starting line-up in the Bundesliga was ended after 43 minutes in a 3-1 defeat against Bayer Leverkusen at the end of November.

Brobbey’s advisor Mino Raiola has already suggested that his client return to Amsterdam. “Ajax really shows that they want him back. The feeling is good. He has to play as much as possible and he’s a bit lost in Leipzig at the moment,” said Raiola at the Dutch broadcaster NOS.

Raiola hit a similar line in an interview with the newspaper NRC. “Of course I feel responsible for his situation. But I’m man enough to say that I think it is best if he goes back to Ajax now,” he said.
