Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag wants to keep Marcel Sabitzer on loan at Old Trafford for the long term. This is from a report by ESPN out. Shortly before the end of the winter transfer window, FC Bayern loaned the Austrian to the Red Devils for six months after their playmaker Christian Eriksen was seriously injured and will be out for several months.
Sabitzer’s contract in Munich runs until 2025. In the summer, both parties would have to sit down again at the negotiating table if United wanted to sign the 68-time Austrian national player on a long-term basis.
Sabitzer has made three appearances since moving to the Premier League, and he has yet to score a goal in United dress.
FC Bayern Munich, rumor: Kylian Mbappé could be used after all
Kylian Mbappé could still be available for Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League game against FC Bayern Munich. That reports the French L’Equipe.
Apparently, the world champion first completed part of the team training on Sunday morning, after which he competed in a few individual sessions. It was Mbappé’s first time on the pitch since his injury in early February.

Lothar Matthäus has criticized Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann for his statements after the 3-0 win over VfL Bochum. “Maybe Julian could have done it a little more cleverly and roused the players internally in the dressing room,” the 61-year-old practiced on the show Sky90 Criticism of the FCB coach.
Matthäus considered the entire lecture to be “superfluous because the players know exactly what Tuesday is about”.
Nagelsmann had demanded a better performance for the CL duel against Paris Saint-Germain after the win at the weekend. “We don’t have a great flow. If we play like this on Tuesday, it won’t be enough to progress,” complained the Bayern coach.
FC Bayern Munich, News: FCB loan player causes a scandal
Malik Tillman, on loan from FC Bayern, caused a scandal at Rangers in Glasgow in the Scottish Cup. After the German-American was treated, opponent Partick Thistle threw in and tried to pass the ball back to Rangers.
However, Tillman went straight into the duel, rounded several opponents and hit the goal. This caused quite a stir, but Rangers coach Michael Beale then made a big gesture of fair play, urging his Rangers to let Thistle score unopposed.
After the game, the coach said: “It was a big misunderstanding. Malik got injured, went out and didn’t see that the ball was played extra wide. He didn’t see that Patrick wanted to give the ball back to us.”
