Marcel Sabitzer has deleted all pictures in the FC Bayern Munich dress on his Instagram profile.
The Austrian is about to move to Borussia Dortmund. He arrived there on Monday morning to complete the obligatory medical check-up. This is evidenced by several videos on social media.
He commented on his departure from FC Bayern with the words: “I’m not going to say anything about that for now.”
According to reports, BVB will transfer around 19 million euros including bonus payments to the German record champions. Sabitzer will apparently sign a contract with the black and yellow until 2027.
FC Bayern: Competition for Sabitzer too big
In the summer of 2021, Marcel Sabitzer came to FCB from RB Leipzig for a reported sum of 15 million euros. In the past second half of the season he was loaned to Manchester United.
He no longer played a role at Bayern under coach Thomas Tuchel, which is why a change of club was forced. With Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Konrad Laimer and Ryan Gravenberch, the competition in Munich’s central midfield is high.
