Marco Reus before comeback against Union

National player Marco Reus from Borussia Dortmund should be part of the BVB squad again on Sunday in the away game against leaders Union Berlin (5.30 p.m.). Reus will train with the team on Friday and Saturday, “and if that goes well, he would be ready for Sunday again,” said coach Edin Terzic on Friday.

To what extent he could be enough for the starting eleven after his ankle injury almost a month ago in the Revierderby against Schalke 04, “we’ll see. But we know that he’s an important factor for our team,” explained Terzic.

Terzic sees the clash with leaders Union as “an interesting and intensive task” that Borussia want to face. Due to the Irons’ last games, he does not expect a clear result: “They were always close games, and that will be the same on Sunday,” believes the 39-year-old. “It doesn’t matter, because tight games can also be won.”

Minor question marks remain over the appearances of the injured Thomas Meunier (groin), Anthony Modeste (illness) and Raphael Guerreiro, who suffered a hit to the foot against Sevilla.
